Modita Brings Asian-Inspired Flavors and Unique Flair to the historic Bottleworks District
Modita rounds out Cunningham Restaurant Group’s recent openings at the historic Bottleworks District on Mass Ave. with a full-service, Asian-inspired restaurant that will be sure to delight. This newest gem in the CRG crown uses its own unique flair on dishes created with fresh local ingredients, combined with spices and flavors from various Asian cuisines and regions, unlike any other CRG concept.
Set in an urban casual setting, the restaurant serves a wide variety of dishes including dim sum, sushi, noodles, and rice along with robata grilled entrées. The dining style will be casual, meant to be enjoyed with many small plates leading to the robata grilled entrée experience of flavors. Complementing the dining experience will be an extensive drink menu featuring handmade cocktails, asian beers, and saké along with more traditional wines and spirits. And last, but not least, dessert at Modita will be an experience meant to delight the palate.
Leading the culinary team at Modita is Executive Chef Braedon Kellner who developed the menu working with the CRG Culinary Team led by Executive Chef Carl Chambers. The team takes the pantry of Asian ingredients and artfully combines them with fresh locally-sourced ingredients resulting in dishes that are unique and exploding with flavor.

Set as the anchor dine-in restaurant for the Bottleworks District & Hotel, Modita offers seating for over 150 guests with special bar and sushi bar seating. The restaurant will also later offer limited private dining along with online carry out ordering to visitors and guests.
Modita is the 15th concept introduced under the Cunningham Restaurant Group umbrella. In addition to the Modita concept, Indianapolis-based Cunningham Restaurant Group owns and operates 34 locations in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky, including BRU Burger Bar, Mesh, Stone Creek Dining Company, Boulder Creek Dining Company, Charbonos, Union 50, Vida, Livery, Nesso, Provision, Rize, Tavern at the Point, CRG Event Center and CRG Grow Greenhouse.
